I hope this place NEVER changes. No matter how many changes happen in the Shamokin area I always feel at home when I'm visiting here. The afternoon ladies are always a pleasure to catch up with. They are quick to get your order together and enjoyable to talk with if you're dining in! I ordered 2 cheeseburgers with only sauce (and if you haven't tried the sauce DO IT) & a cream soda, total was 13 and change. It was worth every penny!

The atmosphere of this place is incredibly unique. Hot dogs with chili and onions are a must. The lady serving our group of 10 adults and 5 kids was extremely helpful and nice to us. Fantastic!

Nostalgic food, old-school ambience, and a no-nonsense approach make Coney Island Lunch a worthy visit if you are in the Shamokin area. The only thing to remember is that they only accept cash, but other than that everything else is a go. The staff is friendly and respectful, the food is done quick, and the meal itself probably has a reputation you’re aware of before you even sink your teeth in. No worries, though because it’s a great time!

Coney Island in Shamokin, PA hits the spot. I had a hot dog and hamburger—one up, one down, with everything on it—at the bar, steam rising, flavors locked in. The hot dog had that perfect snap, and the burger was full of old-school flavor. Just grab both and enjoy the moment.

A great little spot that you have to experience to understand. I think they have been here over 100 years, and the interior feels like little has changed during that time. I love that. If you have trouble finding them just follow your nose to the right street navigating towards the mountain of onions on the grill. A true classic. Never change! Great soda, burgers, and dogs.

What a treat! I ordered 1 Coney dog and a Coney Island burger. Perfection! Stwamed onions, coney Island chili , mustard on the burger. This establishment has been open since 1918..104 years. The owner was so much fun. He was very personable. Do yourself a favor and go here. Date of visit 8/12/22.

I love Coney Island. I've been eating there since I was a tiny little girl n my parents would bring home boxes of coney. Still to this very day, they put out the exact same food, same quality, same faces. Their always super pleasant, and quick. The food is basic but good. Not much to pick from. But what more do you need. This place is a staple in Shamokin. We look forward to many many more years of eating at this amazing restaurant! If you haven't been in to Coney Island lunch.... you are missing out......
